Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies can be used to create highly customized music content tailored to individual preferences and/or musical trends. However, personalized music generation currently does not acknowledge or reward creators whose content forms part of the training data/ input to music generation AI models. This disclosure describes techniques that can take as an input the listener's music profile, preferred genres, and global music trends. These inputs are used to identify a set of songs that are provided as input to a generative AI model that generates new music. The generated songs are provided to listeners for playback. For each generated song, fractional royalties are calculated and paid out to the artists that own the songs in the set of input songs.
