Abstract
This publication describes systems and techniques for generating quick response (QR) codes based on URLs from video descriptions by a media streaming device. Described techniques may enable the dynamic generation of QR codes, generating graphical user interfaces (GUIs) with the QR codes as clickable visual elements, and providing the URLs to a secondary device. Aspects of the disclosure may include media platforms, media streaming, video streaming, affiliate links, websites, video channels, content creation, QR codes, web links, smart TVs, set-top boxes, streaming sticks, companion applications, interactable graphical user interfaces, social media platform, interactable user interface elements, and communications between computing devices.
