Abstract
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for preventing distributed denial of service (DDOS) attack using multi signature security reference (MSSR) header. The system of the present disclosure may comprise determining, by the service providing system 102, that a site-specific Signed Security Reference (SSR) header may be issued to end user 210. Further, the system may comprise storing the SSR header in a file that corresponds to the MSSR header file. Furthermore, the system may comprise sending the MSSR header to web service 104 in subsequent calls. Thus, sending the MSSR header to the web service 104, may identify the legitimacy of valid user and prioritize the valid users. Thereby preventing the DDOS attack, in accordance with the present disclosure.
