Abstract
This paper describes a dual projection configuration that is positioned closer to the user’s eyes by utilizing the area around the nose section of the user. The dual projection configuration consists of 2 projection configurations, one configuration per each eye of the user. Each projection configuration will contain 4 video displays, 4 convex lens stacks, 4 beam splitters, and a reflecting surface. The dual projection configuration will have the capability to display virtual content in the field of view of the user while being positioned closer to the eyes of the user by utilizing the 3D space around the nose section of the user.
