Abstract
Proposed herein are techniques to facilitate dynamic tenant allocation and data partitioning in a multi-tenant network controller that helps to address issues regarding the packing of uneven sized tenants in a logical set without needing to move or reallocate tenant-aware network data once tenant networks start to grow (e.g., based on network demands, etc.). The techniques can also help to persist tenant-aware network data in an incremental manner based on specific tenant intent for faster retrievals and efficient lookups, despite the store size, without requiring a re-partitioning or tenant migration in case the data for a specific tenant grows in an unbounded fashion.
