Collaboration technologies allow users to create spaces/channels for discussions and task creations. Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) facilitate assisting users dealing with data overload issues associated with spaces/channels, such as summarization, task extraction, and assistance with wording. However, users are largely left to organizing and managing spaces themselves. To overcome this issue, techniques are proposed herein that provide for the automatic categorization of spaces in conjunction with a more advanced summarization system that combines personalized profiles with space categorization to provide unique and concise user notifications and also remove unwanted noise.
