Abstract
One of the main Image Quality issues in white ink printers is White to Color Misalignment. Currently exist some mitigators to help Customers prevent the issue. In current products the recommendation comes from Customer Assurance, asking to break the alignment between White and Colors to compensate the WTCM. In the new products exists the possibility to move the White Layer in the scan-axis and paper-axis direction (referent to colors layer). This feature needs to be entered manually without any reference, just trying, and reprinting to check if it works.
With our solution, the customer will be able to adjust the WTCM automatically. The printer will use the internal sensor to understand which is the misalignment and make the necessary corrections.
