Abstract
Digital printers offer capabilities wildly advanced as compared to old letterpress printers working with hot lead types. And yet, traditional letterpress offers a special, organic warmth that digital types lack. This disclosure explores the differences between digital and traditional types and suggests a software solution for simulating the appearance of traditional printing, consequently targeting an optimized reading experience relevant to bibliophiles, collectors and general historical printing enthusiasts.
