Abstract
Supercapacitors are often controlled by controller chips. Controller chips may also perform tests to determine the ESR and capacitance of the supercapacitors. Some controller chips may not hold the charge/voltage of the supercapacitors at a desired level for a desired amount of time. By changing the settings/parameters of the test, a user may be able to emulate or simulate the behavior of holding the charge/voltage of the supercapacitors at the desired level for the desired amount of time.
