Abstract
We often desire temperatures to be independently set from any surroundings, for example inside buildings. Opportunistic heating is the idea of using forms of heat with low climate impact to reduce the need for higher-impact forms. Composting is one opportunistic heat source. This document presents general guidelines and design examples of in-door composting for opportunistic heat.
