Abstract
A cooking appliance with a circuit board assembly is provided. The cooking appliance can be an electric cooking range or a gas cooking range, which includes an oven. The circuit board assembly is assembled to the frame structure of the appliance, thereby providing easy access for testing equipment to electrically connect to power and control electronics on the circuit board assembly. The assembly comprises a support bracket, a frame, and a PCB with a test terminal. A standardized positioning of the terminal among the appliance variants provides optimum conditions to efficiently test the electronics in an automatized manner.
