Abstract

This disclosure describes an AI compute park that uses no cooling water. It is built as a series of identical 1,000 MW increments, each combining photovoltaic generation, sodium-ion storage, direct-to-chip liquid-cooled compute halls and an air-cooled condenser (ACC) plant inside one compound in a high, dry, inland desert. Heat is carried out of the racks in a facility-water loop supplied at up to 45 °C and rejected straight to ambient air through forced-draft fans, with no chillers and no evaporation. The disclosure specifies how the condenser plant is sized for the low temperature difference of a data-center loop, how altitude and coastal fog constrain siting, how the power chain is arranged around an 800 VDC rack supply, how the only consumptive water (panel and coil washing) is supplied by road, how the plant is operated across ambient bands, how every hall is built so that capacity can be switched between training and inference by scheduling alone, which workloads the site's network latency supports, and how exterior emissions are designed and verified for siting near astronomical observatories. Per increment: 4.410 GW_DC of photovoltaics, 16.50 GWh of storage, 1,210 MW_th of rejection through 112 fans of 9.1 m, and about 106 m³ of water per day.
