Abstract

We describe a charity challenge match in which no money is contingent, in its existence, on the outcome, so that no party places a wager. Two players or teams agree to a physical contest. (1) At acceptance, each contestant pays an equal, non-refundable entry donation in a fixed amount set by the platform operator, never by the contestants; each donation is credited irrevocably, before play and regardless of result, to that contestant's own household giving fund or to a communal charitable fund. (2) Third parties may add irrevocable charitable pledges to a pledge pool attached to the match; each pledge is charged when made and designates the cause backed by one contestant, with a declared fallback. The outcome selects only which pre-committed charitable recipient receives the pool; it never creates, cancels, or returns a pledge, and eligible recipients are communal causes unconnected to any contestant's household, with monastic support excluded. (3) The winner's prize is non-monetary: the right to announce the recipient and dedicate the gift to an honoree. Consideration and outcome-contingency are held by different parties: contestants pay but can receive nothing, pledgors' money is routed by the outcome but they control and receive nothing, and the operator takes no share. Excluded variants are enumerated, including loser-pays transfers, refundable stakes, contestant-set amounts, odds displays, victory-linked rankings, and brand pledges on matches involving minors. Stated limits: no legal review, including under Cambodian gambling law; nothing built or tested; pot-cap thresholds underived.
