Abstract
Method to characterize formation complexity based on Logging While Drilling (LWD) measured data directly, before inversion processing without simulating the synthetic data. To determine dimensionality, presence of anisotropy, and key angles relative to wellbore in models approximating formation around the tool in order to choose appropriate inversion application (=> more reliable, faster result, better resolution, less uncertainty)
