TEMPLATE-BASED AUTOMATIC GENERATION OF ONLINE ADVERTISEMENTS

Abstract

Online marketers create advertising campaigns in a format compatible with ad networks such as those for search engines, social networks, web portals, media websites, mobile apps, email and chat services, etc. It is important for online marketers to customize their campaigns to reach an appropriate audience for their unique goods and services. To reach the appropriate audience, online marketers target advertisements based upon, for example, user location, users who previously visited a website, user’s device type, etc. For online marketers with large numbers of offerings, producing numerous variations of advertisements that allow customization of campaigns and accurate targeting is not scalable. This disclosure describes techniques to automatically generate ad campaigns with variations that reflect the targets and offerings of an online marketer. The variations are generated based on templates specified by the online marketer.
