Abstract
This disclosure relates to systems and methods for automatic near-exact keyword canonicalization. In particular, a keyword management system is provided that, based on keywords input by an advertiser, algorithmically derives a set of canonicalized IDs that represent the input keywords and near-exact formulations. The keyword management system also dynamically updates the collection of canonicalized IDs, as necessary, in response to new keywords input by the advertiser. The system is also configured to provide user feedback so as to educate the advertiser about the canonicalization of the entered keywords.
